Audax is a media and logistics group whose roots go back to 1958. An average of 853 FTEs (2014) realize a turnover of more than € 232 million. The focus is on logistics activities in urban areas and their development, the accent is on the distribution of magazines and e-fulfilment.

 
The distribution activities are carried out under two brand names: Betapress and Van Ditmar.

Magazine and newspaper distribution in the Netherlands and Belgium are carried out by Betapress.

Van Ditmar bundles all book activities within Audax, in particular the still growing import and distribution of books in English.

Audax Logistiek handles all logistics in the Netherlands and Belgium for both group companies and external clients.

Shop chain AKO focuses at around 100 high-traffic locations on the sale of newspapers, magazines and books, and broadens its range more and more with convenience and gift items.

Audax Publishing focuses especially on women with its magazine titles and e-commerce activities.

Audax is active on the Belgian market with distributor Impress en publishing house Cascade, publisher of, amongst other titles, fast-growing tv magazine Primo.

Audax investigates pro active how the strategy can be implemented faster and more cost effective through cooperation with external parties, but also between the subsidiary companies.
